TabApp Coming for HeroClix This October

HeroClix TabApp, a new iOS app which will integrate WizKids miniatures with the iPad, is set to release this October. Icarus Studios, in conjunction with WizKids will use the iPad as the gaming map while the miniatures will be purchased as usual. Exclusive maps and content will be unlocked based on the miniatures selected.

No word on what licenses are to be included in TabApp, but the announcement states the game will “bring popular characters commonly featured in NECA’s product lines to the game.”
