John Kranz is one of the class acts in this hobby and a true gentleman. I went to the Expo last year for the first time and when I finally got to meet John, he was so nice and treated me as if I had known him for years. The Expo was a blast and I can’t wait to return this year. The hotel and environment was so cool, I’m bringing my girlfriend this year so she can enjoy it as well. And yes, it’s worth the price of admission and the plane tickets just to watch Alan do the auction! I look forward to seeing Jeff, John and all the other attendees this year. Good gaming. Hermann
Thank Hermann! My interview style is more to sit back and let the subject chat about whatever they’d like while I just steer a bit. Honestly, my favorite interviews are those with both Elliott and myself because there tends to be a lot more humor with those but, even flying solo, I shoot to keep things light.
I’m also looking forward to the Expo because it’ll be a nice break from all the running around we’ve got in store for us this month at the Phoenix Comic-Con and Origins, with San Diego Comic-Con and Gen Con later in the Summer. Whew! Of course, I’ll look to do some interviews again at CSWE but the pace will be relaxed. I’m definitely going to enjoy meeting up with yourself and the rest of the VPG gang once again too!

John’s definitely a good guy and really devotes a lot of his time to furthering the hobby! I’ve been looking forward to checking out The Hunters since I first heard about it and I’ll look forward to checking it out at CSWE 2012!
Yep – I’ve pre-ordered The Hunters as well after listening to the interview. Looks like it’s actually playable, which is important to me. I don’t want to struggle through pages and pages of rules and charts when playing solo. Hermann
