Munchkin Deluxe from Steve Jackson Games is now available.  Now you can step it up a notch.  Personally, I crank my Munchkin games to Level 11.  Everyone else’s only goes to ten, but I’ve got an 11.  Ok, if you haven’t got the Spinal Tap reference by now, you never will.

What makes Munchkin Deluxe deluxe?  It has a big gameboard to keep the cards in place, six colored pawns that move around the board as you level up, plus a card that goes with each pawn so help keep track of who you are and what gender you happen to be at any particular moment.

Munchkin, though silly, is loved by many.  I myself own Munckin Bites and Munchkin Cthulhu (and expansions).  I can always get the kids to play Munchkin.

If you don’t know Munchkin, here’s a description right from Steve Jackson Games:

Munchkin is the mega-hit card game about dungeon adventure . . . with none of that stupid roleplaying stuff. You and your friends compete to kill monsters and grab magic items. And what magic items! Don the Horny Helmet and the Boots of Butt-Kicking. Wield the Staff of Napalm . . . or maybe the Chainsaw of Bloody Dismemberment. Start by slaughtering the Potted Plant and the Drooling Slime, and work your way up to the Plutonium Dragon . . .
