Written and Bound, the first mind-blowing Asylum Pack of the Revelations cycle, is now available at your local retailer and online on our webstore. Pick up your copy today, and begin your exploration of its eldritch secrets!

Knowledge is power

The Revelations cycle focuses heavily on two themes pervading the Cthulhu mythos, the bearers of Tomes of dark knowledge and the hunters who seek them. Written and Bound leaps into these themes with the introduction of two new Relic Hunters, new Tomes, the game’s first Library, and several startling new events.

While the opposing factions race to discover the dread secrets of an umbral codex and the book of books, the Syndicate’s operatives find means of extracting themselves from sticky situations, and one of the heroic Faculty at Miskatonic University empowers his research with secrets stolen from other dimensions. Meanwhile, the Order of the Silver Twilight matures its plans for a new world order, its efforts led by the Order’s Master of Initiation.

Still, the peril to humanity has never been greater! Unholy Serpents populate the lands, serving the forces of Cthulhu and destruction, Shub-Niggurath feeds her spawn to grow them, and Yog-Sothoth gives the other factions reason to reconsider their courses of action. Creating a maddening cacophony in asylums everywhere, Lunatics proclaim their service to the King in Yellow, but it’s music to the ears of the King’s new Servitor.

The knowledge of good and evil

The Ancient Ones live beyond humanity’s narrow morality, but their presence causes such chaos and destruction that it’s easy to view them as evil. While cultists seek the means to call the Ancient Ones more fully into the world, brave Scientists and Investigators seek the means to ward off such beings. The fate of the world lies in the acquisition of such eldritch knowledge as lies in those few dusty and forbidden Tomes that carry information about the other Ancient Ones and the other realms, Written and Bound.
