‘Shin Godzilla’ Hits American Shores in October

The newest film starring everyone’s favorite giant, radioactive breathing lizard is already receiving rave reviews in Japan and now American audiences will have an opportunity to see Shin Godzilla (Godzilla Resurgence in English) this October. Following special premieres in Los Angeles (Oct. 3rd) and New York (Oct. 5th) the film will enter a limited release in select theaters October 11th through the 18th.

The film is co-directed by Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi, with a screenplay by Anno and visual effects by Higuchi. Shin Godzilla stars Hiroki Hasegawa, Yutaka Takenouchi, and Satomi Ishihara.

The newest Godzilla is a reboot of the Toho Co. Ltd. Japanese film series, retelling the story of the monster’s first appearance and features the biggest Godzilla ever seen on the silver screen.
