Hey Hand Me That Sonic Screwdriver Would You?

Here is a nifty gadget I saw at SD Comic-Con that immediately perked up my geek radar. It is the Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver Universal Remote Control. This is the 11th Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver and it has a lot of neat features and sounds, plus it works as a remote too.

This is the brainchild of The Wand Company, who have already had a huge response to their first product, a Magic Wand Universal Remote similar to what you would see in “Harry Potter”. The Sonic Screwdriver is officially licensed from the BBC so it uses sounds taken from the actual show. It has four modes, 13 programmable gestures, and three memory banks. It comes in a display case and has a few cool extras that I think you’ll like if you are a Doctor Who fan.
