The Frankenweenie Press Conference with Tim Burton

Another great press conference at San Diego Comic-Con was the Frankenweenie conference with Tim Burton (director), Allison Abbate (producer), Don Hahn (producer) and Atticus Shaffer (Actor, Voice of Edgar). It was an interesting conference, only about 24 minutes long with some good laughs.

I highly recommend visiting the Disney Franenweenie website. It’s highly thematic and yo can see clips and trailers from the movie

From Creative Genius Tim Burton comes “Frankenweenie”, a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life – with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers, and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.

A stop-motion animated film, “Frankenweenie” was filmed in black and white and rendered in 3D, which elevates the classic style to a whole new experience.
