I page through and review the core rule book for the fantasy roleplaying game Dungeon Crawl Classics. Does this old school flavored, Appendix N inspired roleplaying game demand a spot on just about every fantasy Game Master’s shelf? Or is DCC just a collection of weirdness seemingly concocted to sell oddball shaped dice? You’ll find out!
Plus learn how you can win one of two copies of DCC in PDF!

Summary
I know Dungeon Crawl Classics isn't going to be everyone's bag of tricks, and I do have some minor quibbles with the design, but this is also a fantasy RPG which is obviously a hell of a lot of fun to play and run. I have to say I haven't run across a game that embodies the feel and essence of sword and sorcery, as well as the old school RPG vibe I remember as a kid, quite as well as DCC. This really is a game nearly guaranteed to bring back the wonder, excitement, and crazy fun of that first time you sat down to tell make believe stories and roll funny looking dice around the kitchen table. My highest recommendation!
