I share my review of the core rulebook for the Land of Eem roleplaying game from Exalted Funeral. Written by Ben Costa and James Parks, the game is set in the world of the Dungeoneering Adventures and Rickety Stitch graphic novels.

SUMMARY
I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of depth contained in Land of Eem; don't be fooled into thinking this is a game for kids simply because of the art style. It is an all ages game though, and one which I believe people will enjoy quite a lot. There are a lot of mechanics from other TTRPGs mashed together but, thankfully, they fit nicely. I do wish there was more setting information in the core rulebook. Sure, there's The Mucklands campaign book - which is available separately or as part of the deluxe box set - but I believe gamers might just pick up this book to check things out and be disappointed there isn't more about the actual land of Land of Eem. Regardless, I can see having an absolute blast playing this game.
