SUMMARY

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of depth contained in Land of Eem; don't be fooled into thinking this is a game for kids simply because of the art style. It is an all ages game though, and one which I believe people will enjoy quite a lot. There are a lot of mechanics from other TTRPGs mashed together but, thankfully, they fit nicely. I do wish there was more setting information in the core rulebook. Sure, there's The Mucklands campaign book - which is available separately or as part of the deluxe box set - but I believe gamers might just pick up this book to check things out and be disappointed there isn't more about the actual land of Land of Eem. Regardless, I can see having an absolute blast playing this game.
