I take on The Black Madonna boxed adventure set, for Twilight 2000, from Free League Publishing. The core plotline is revamped for the first edition Twilight: 2000 tale of the same name. The box contains new encounter cards, battle maps, and a 72 page softcover book. You’ll encounter a new region of Poland, additional factions, and plotlines including the titular adventure.

Is this adventure a must own for the 4th edition of Twilight: 2000? Or does The Black Madonna not have a prayer? You’ll find out!

SUMMARY

The Black Madonna is a solid addition to the Twilight: 2000 fourth edition line although I'd love to see Free League branch out more and move away from simply revamping original Twilight: 2000 tales. I am surprised this carries the same MSRP as Hostile Waters as there's quite a bit less in this box. Regardless, if you and your players have been enjoying Free League's releases so far you should enjoy this as well.
