I sit down to share my thoughts about the gazetteer and setting book, Wastes of Chaos, for 5E Dungeons & Dragons. The book also easily integrates into the Midgard setting, which is the Kobold Press house setting. Personally, I’m hoping the upcoming Tales of the Valiant RPG sticks with the Midgard setting.

Wastes of Chaos for 5E Reviewed

Wastes of chaos is another really fun and interesting gazetteer focusing on a section of the world of Midgard. The Midgard trappings are kept in an appendice so the real focus is for you to include these regions into your own game world if you don't run adventures in Kobold's home setting. There's cool ne races, backgrounds, spells, magic items, treasures, monsters, and more. There's lots packed into the 209 pages. I highly recommend Wastes of Chaos, especially if your a fan of Midgard as I am.
