It is inevitable that the soon to be released Mansions of Madness from Fantasy Flight Games will be compared to the recently released new edition of Betrayal at House on the Hill from Wizards of the Coast. I had the unique opportunity to play both of these games for the first time on the same day.
I’m always on the lookout for horror/spooky themed games. So I was happy to find out that Wizards of the Coast will be re-releasing Betrayal at House on the Hill on October 5th, just in time for Halloween. Originally released in 2004 by Avalon Hill, this game has been climbing the “Expensive” chart in the reselling market, and was way out of my range to purchase a copy.
