PSC Games will be releasing the quick playing WWII game Blitzkrieg Combined Edition next month. This release includes the base game, where you’ll battle in historical theaters, as well as the fictional expansion where Japan invades a German controlled USA. The game is for one or two players, ages 14+, plays in around 20 minutes or more, and will carry an MSRP of $40.00 when it hits store in April.
About the game:
Recreate World War Two in 20 minutes! The perfect wargame for non-wargamers, Blitzkrieg! allows two players to battle across the War’s most iconic theatres, winning key campaigns and building military might.
Players draw army tokens from a bag to determine their starting forces and to replenish their losses. Rather than ‘fighting’ battles with dice or cards, players allocate their military resources to each theatre’s campaigns, winning victory points, further resources, special weapons, and strategic advantages as they play. Refight World War Two several times in one evening!
Two players battle across the war’s most iconic theatres, winning key campaigns and building their military might. Blitzkrieg! is a challenging game with simple rules, a short playing time, and many tough decisions! Close campaigns, win war victory points, gain further resources and special weapons, and exploit strategic advantages as you play. The Nippon Expansion adds a new challenge to Blitzkrieg! What if the Axis coalition had won World War Two, and Germany invaded and occupied the United States of America? And … what if Japan then turned on its former ally and invaded German-held America? With the help of Godzilla?
