The Top Ten Censored RPG Books?

Shannon Applegate, over at RPG.net, has written an interesting column regarding ten role playing game books that have been banned over the years. I have to say it’s an interesting read as most gamers probably never think to themselves that censorship can enter into play when it comes to a core book or supplement. On a personal note Elliott, our friends, and I did run into some trouble for playing Killer (from Steve Jackson Games) in high school after the game first came out. Shannon tackles the list in nice detail and you should pop on over to give it a read.

As a teaser, here are the top five:

1. Palace of the Silver Princess, 1st Printing (TSR, 1981)

2. GURPS Cyberpunk (Steve Jackson Games, 1990)

3. Killer (Steve Jackson Games, 1982)

4. Alma Mater (Oracle Games, 1982)

5. Book of Erotic Fantasy (Valar Project, 2003)

Just makes you want to take a peek to see what all the fuss was about!
