Free League Publishing Unleashes ‘Mutant: Year Zero – Elysium’ on Kickstarter

Free League Publishing has launched a Kickstarter for their third and final Mutant: Year Zero stand alone roleplaying expansion. Mutant: Year Zero – Elysium tells the tale of humanity’s final collapse, decades after being forced to abandon an irradiated surface world. The crowdfunding project is over 700% funded and you can reserve the 200+ page corebook (and unlocked stretch goals) in PDF for a $28.00 pledge or add in the physical hardcover book (plus PDF and unlocked stretch goals) for a $39.00 pledge. The kickstarter runs through December 13th with an expected delivery date of April of next year.

When humanity falls, when nations and authorities collapse, only the most basic human bond remains – family. While the world burns, the powerful industrial and financial dynasties Warburg, Zubov, Kruger, and Kilgore form a covenant called Elysium, after the meadows of eternal Spring of Greek mythology. Deep down in the bedrock, they build the enclave named Elysium I, designed to weather the long atomic winter.

Decades later, after the devastating Enclave Wars, Elysium I is a gilded prison, a lonely outpost in a sea of quiet destruction. Within the enclave’s dim halls, fear and suspicion grow unchecked.
