AEG announced the second title to be part of the Big Game Night at this year’s Gen Con and it’s a quick playing card drafting game, Point Salad. In the game, players will have to juggle the ingredient cards to the salads they are making, with each possessing a unique point scoring formula on the other side. Point Salad is for two to six players, ages 14+, and plays in around 15-30 minutes. Point Salad will be included in the big AEG box if you take part in Big Game Night 2019 or be made available to gamers everywhere for $19.99 this summer.
From AEG:
Point Salad, designed by the team at Flatout Games, is a fast-playing easy to learn card drafting game. All cards have two sides. One side features one of six veggies, the other side one of 120 possible scoring methods. Collect cards for either their veggie side or their scoring side, then score your veggies based on ALL the scoring methods you’ve collected! But be careful, some scoring methods may result in negative points for some veggies. Don’t let your perfect salad be spoiled!
Cards come in six different types of veggies, and the back of each card has a different scoring method. So for instance, one scoring method may award 2 points for every carrot you have, but deduct a point for every onion. By drafting combinations of veggies and point cards that work for your strategy, you can amass the most points and win.
