Game Salute and Zuccini People Games Launch Hero Brigade Kickstarter

If you dig comic book card games you might want to take a peek at a new Kickstarter project launched by Game Salute and Zuccini People Games (yes, that really is the company’s name…). Hero Brigade is for two players where one takes on the the role of the heroes while the other controls the super-villains. The title looks like it’ll have some pretty sweet art and the project is already funded with nearly a month to go.

Magic: The Gathering Sales Jumps Adds to Hasbro Quarterly Profits

On Monday, Hasbro revealed their first quarter financial results showing sales of game products played a major factor in the company’s overall positive performance. Hasbro’s net revenue was up 2 percent over the first quarter of last year, growing to $664 million. Overall operating profit was up 47 percent compared to the same quarter of 2012.
