I’ve taken a look at the site, and it seems the way it works is that the author typically opens a thread earlier in the day so that fans can get started asking questions. The author comes back later, 8 PM Eastern in this case, and begins answering questions on the thread. It is a great way for anyone to get their questions that have been simmering for years answered.
