The Hall of Fantasy began being produced in 1946 by radio station KALL out of Salt Lake City. The series was essentially a bare bones mystery series for it’s run until sometime in early 1947. That’s when creators Richard Thorne and Carl Greyson went their separate ways. That is until 1949 when they both began working at Chicago’s very own WGN radio and resurrected the program. This time featuring tales of the supernatural. These episodes are well regarded by fans of OTR.
Tonight we’ll listen to the story of a couple who unwittingly own a death mask. Or maybe a should say, a mask belonging to death. Kick back with The Masks of Ashor from The Hall of Fantasy as it aired on March 9th 1953.
