Next month will see the release of the archeology themed board game ArcheOlogic from Ludonaute. In the game, players will look to find specific buildings in an ancient city and will use various code breaking techniques to do so. ArcheOlogic is for one to four players, ages 12+, plays in around 45 minutes, and will carry an MSRP of $34.99 when it arrives January 19th.
About the game:
A city in the mountains was discovered, but no one dares to venture there without having mapped the place. Here is finally a mission for you, an archaeologist with implacable logic.
Be the first to find the right location of the buildings in the city! An ancient city has been discovered in the mountains, but no one dares venture there without having mapped the place… Here is finally a mission for you, archaeologist with implacable logic.
ArcheOlogic is a competitive deduction game the goal of which is to map a city hidden in the mountains using the Archeoscope, a sophisticated research instrument. Think carefully about the questions you are going to ask—some will make you waste more time than others. Set it by turning its cogs, note the precious answers and replace, correctly and first, the buildings on the plan to win the part.
