April will see a zombie themed version of the board game Prosperity. Trick or Treat Studios will be releasing City of the Living where players will compete to expand and protect their city and citizens from the undead across seven decades. The game is for two to four players, ages 14+, plays in around 60 minutes, and will carry an MSRP of $49.95 when it arrives April 10th.
About the game:
The infection spread out of control. They call them zombies, but whatever they are… there’s more of them than there are of us. A few groups of survivors have established defensible positions and are trying to rebuild. But when death is the new “normal”, these cities of the living must be different from those of the past.
In City of the Living, you are in charge of your own fortified territory. You must Scavenge for resources and use them to build, reinforce, and protect your people. The player who does this the best- while keeping the zombie threat at bay – will undoubtedly be the best leader for this new way of life.
City of the Living is a tableau building action-selection game by acclaimed designers Reiner Knizia and Sebastian Bleasdale.
