Fans of WWII miniatures gaming are no doubt excited as Battlefront is now shipping a special printing of the third edition rules to Flames of War. The latest rulebook is available to owners of the hardbound second edition at absolutely no charge. If you’re gung-ho to get your hands on the all new 294 page rulebook, simply head over to your favorite store (that stocks Flames of War) and bring along that hardcover second edition with you. This February, if your store has the new mini version of the rules in stock, you can simply trade in the second edition for the softbound third. Sure, you’re obviously trading in a hardcover for the soft but you’ll be able to purchase the hard cover of the new Flames of War rules set come March 2012.
