Hey You! What About Luna?

It’s not getting a lot of press, despite the good things I’ve heard about it.  Luna recently made it onto the US retailer shelves, thanks to Z-Man Games.  Designed by Stefan Feld, with artwork by Klemens Franz the game is very visually appealing.  The board consists of a larger island surrounded by seven smaller ones.   Nice wooden pieces, a moon priestess.  Yes it sounds a bit new age, but there are many who love the game.  Maybe one day I’ll get to play, but until then, here’s a bit more info to encourage everyone to try it.  It can be played solo too.

The Regency of the Moon Priestess is nigh. Her successor will be chosen among the memebers of the mightiest Order of the Moon Cult – that is why they are competing to gain the most influence.

To achieve this task, each player is the leader of such an Order and sends out his Novices. These travel through the Holy Isles, try to gain the favor of the local priests, and build shrines. Also, they participate in the Moon Priestess’ Services, and engage in the Temple Service.
