I take a look at the latest card driven wargame, Mr. Madison’s War, from our friends at GMT. This is a title I’ve been looking forward to getting my hands on. The game is designed by Gilbert Collins (based on Mark Herman’s Washington’s War system) and we get to see exactly what you can expect when you open the box. Of course once I uploaded the video to YouTube, I realized I’d spoken out of turn by saying the Treaty of Ghent was signed in Paris thus bringing about the end of War of 1812. It was about an hour later when I remembered the treaty was signed in what’s now Belgium and not France. Doh!
