Now the first expansion is hitting and I’ll take a look to see what you can expect when you crack open the box for Space Empires: Close Encounters. Designed by Jim Krohn, the expansion brings loads of new ships, scenarios, advantages, and lots more to ratchet your Space Empires games to a whole new level!

Since the original game was known for having miscut counter sheets (my copy’s counters were miscut), some of the counter sheets shown here are a reprint of the base game (that was a nice touch by GMT).
The remaining counter sheets are new for items being introduced.
