While Marvel had planned to air the first trailer for next year’s Avengers: Age of Ultron during the next episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. an online leak has lead to the company releasing the trailer, as well as a pretty cool movie concept art poster, days ahead of schedule. Marvel laid the blame with tongue firmly in cheek:
Robert Downey Jr., returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, as well as Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill. Added to the mix are Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) and Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Pietro Maximoff (Quicksilver) with Paul Bettany taking on the role of Vision (as well as Jarvis no doubt). James Spader provides the voice for Ultron.
Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1st, 2015.
