Chad Coleman to Join Cast of The Walking Dead as Tyreese

Actor Chad Coleman, best known for his role as Dennis “Cutty” Wise in the HBO series The Wire, is joining the cast of The Walking Dead. AMC has indicated Coleman portray Tyreese a character who is a fan favorite with many of the comic book readers. We can expect the character to be introduced in the mid-season finale.

This is good news because many of us were wondering if the character would be introduced on the show since Tyreese is he’s Rick main confidant and best friend through much of the comic book’s run.
