Netflix Announces ‘Orange is the New Black’ Season Two Premiere with New Teaser

You might want to take a pause from your binge watching of the second season of House of Cards – which I’m in the midst of as well – to take note Netflix has announced the premiere date of their other award winning original series, Orange is the New Black. June 6th will see the return of the ladies of Litchfield Prison in thirteen episodes with reduced roles for some actresses from season one, Laura Prepon (Alex) most noticeably, while others will play larger roles in the ongoing narrative such as Taryn Manning (Tiffany), Uzo Aduba (Suzanne), and Danielle Brooks (Tasha). We’ll also see new characters introduced this season too with Lorraine Toussaint and Lori Petty joining the cast.

Of course Taylor Schilling returns as lead character Piper Kerman while Jason Biggs, Kate Mulgrew, and Natasha Lyonne contiue on as series regulars.
