As if we had anything to worry about, The Walking Dead will see a fourth season and the cast and crew will be returning to Atlanta on May 6th to begin production. AMC Television also confirms today Scott M. Gimple will be Showrunner and Executive Producer for the series’ fourth season which will premiere in October with a full slate of 16 episodes. Gimple has been on the show’s writing staff since season two.
Co-Executive Producer, Emmy Award-winning Special Effects Makeup Supervisor and Director Greg Nicotero and Producer Tom Luse have also been elevated to executive producers.
