It’s extremely likely the historic 50th annual Gen Con will be setting another milestone for the highest attendance ever and, right now, it’s been announced that badges may actually sell out prior to the event this August 17th – 20th.
It’s that time of year again as my favorite gaming convention starts really gearing up for four days of fun in Indianapolis this Summer.
I’m certainly looking forward to returning to my favorite gaming convention this year and the folks at Gen Con are gearing up as well.
Earlier today Gen Con announced they had reached an agreement to extend their stay in Indianapolis through at least 2021.
It might come as a surprise to some that last week’s announcement of the Gen Con featured industry presenters being comprised of a female majority has lead to overwrought hand ringing and blacklash across the internets.

Early this week Gen Con opened event registration for the 2015 edition of the best four days in gaming and a huge number of gamers took the opportunity to get into the action!
“The Best Four Days in Gaming” will be upon us sooner than you think and badge registration has opened for this year’s Gen Con. Gen Con is my favorite gaming show and I’m certainly looking forward to heading down to Indianapolis July 30th – August 2nd, 2015 for another great time touching base with all sorts of gamers and industry friends.
