While touring the floor at C2E2 last weekend, I ran across a booth where they were taking pictures of folks and then turning them into zombies. It looked really cook so I gave it a go, the result of which you see here.
It turns out that the booth was for Hype Comics, and they are promoting their web-based interactive comic called Zombies Eat Republicans. It is also available as a mobile version, but you can get a preview on their website. It has music, sound effects, some interactivity, and animation. It isn’t supposed to be a political message, it just covers the zombie apocalypse if it occurred during the upcoming presidential election.
An up-an-coming idealistic, conservative Republican press secretary from San Diego gets a crash course in survival when the presidential campaign trail takes a sudden expected turns as he discovers everything he thought he knew about party loyalty and social ties comes into question as he tries to save the country from a zombie attack and potential nuclear annihilation.
I’m not entirely sure how everything works or how to get the whole comic, but what I have seen so far looks great, but for mature audiences only.

Oh a wise guy eh?….it’s really me when I don’t have my coffee
I can attest to that coffee comment… though… if he were to post a pic of me without my coffee the viewers would turn to stone. LOL! ;o)
