A cruel and philandering lord and his mistress get their just desserts from the deep in Lord Marley’s Guest – which aired September 7th, 1943 – on Lights Out. This entry into the October Spooktacular is an interesting episode on it’s own merits but it also features creator Arch Oboler commenting on the deposed Fascist dictator Benito Mussolini’s imprisonment less than a week before he was rescued by Nazi commandos.
