Renegade Game Studios has a double dose of North Sea action hitting next week with the releases of Explorers of the North Sea and The North Sea Runesaga. Explorers of the North Sea is the final piece of the North Sea trilogy as players take on the roles of Viking captains as they set off to uncharted lands in search of wealth and glory. The North Sea Runesaga actually ties all three North Sea games together into a massive challenge! Explorers of the North Sea is for one to four players, ages 12+, plays in around 45 minutes and carries an MSRP of $50.00. The North Sea Runesaga creates an epic session of two to three hours and carries an MSRP of $25.00.

The aim of Explorers of the North Sea is to become the most prestigious Captain through clever planning and navigation. Players gain Victory Points (VP) by controlling Islands, delivering Livestock, raiding Settlements, constructing Outposts and destroying Enemy Ships. The game ends at the dawn of winter. At this point, the player with the most Victory Points is declared the winner!
