A.D. 30 is a game about the travels of Jesus, leading up to his arrival in Jerusalem and subsequent arrest and crucifixion.
This is the story of Earth in the year 2717. Our old Earth has suffered a lot over the centuries, and most people live in orbit. Similar in ways to the storyline for Alien, all of humanity is governed by a single mega corporation, called the Conglomerate.
Pittsburgh 68 is a fun and easy game for the most part though. You feel the theme throughout the game, and I’m just amazed with the amount of gameplay that is packed into a single deck of cards.
The game is more of a mental challenge than fun, so if you like that kind of game then Mage Knight is the game for you.
Playing Morphology Junior with its intended audience is a fun way to spend some quality family time together. It’s similar to other games of its type, and thus earns an ok rating from me.
Dark Rages is a small box expansion to Nightfall, but it has some powerhouse cards packed into it. The world of Nightfall continues to grow adding more and more options without making the game become so complex that it is unplayable.
A Touch of Evil is a horror game where the players are struggling against various supernatural creatures to defend the town of Shadowbrook. The game is set around 1800 which makes it a bit unique in the vast array of horror games.
Legendary is a great addition to the deck building world of games with a lot of familiar characters and plots to experience if you are a Marvel fan or even just a fan of deck building games. My only criticism’s are the lack of randomizer cards, the layout of the board, and the layout of the rulebook which I thought could use some improvement.
