As if Rick Grimes and his fellow zombie apocalypse brethren didn’t already have this foremost in mind, AMC has already begun promoting season five of The Walking Dead with a new poster showing Rick bathed in a beam of light with only a single word displayed: Survive.
The season four finale brought in a staggering 15.7 millions viewers during its first airing (not including those who religiously turn to their DVRs to catch the program after an initial broadcast) including over ten million among the heavily coveted 18-49 demographic. Overall, season four has another ratings hit for AMC as each episode averaged approximately 13.3 million live viewers.

I, for one, have my own theory (I read the comic dontcha know) but my guess would be just as good as anyone else not named Robert Kirkman or Greg Nicotero…
