Same Old Same Old: A Review of ‘Paranormal Activity 4’
Has the series run its course? Probably. The film was boring, with tired scare tactics and a thin plotline at best.

Overall Wonderland isn’t a bad game but it could be a lot better. Fans of the comics will like the game, as for others it will depend upon your own personal tastes. I found the amount of randomness to be a bit much for me.
Overall, this is a great game. I’ve already purchased a play mat with a view of deep space on it, and I’m looking into a mat that has a close up view of the Death Star trench, to recreate the most classic battle from the Star Wars films. However, FFG needs to put together more scenarios, as there are only so many dogfights that you can play with three ships or even six before it gets really boring, no matter how much you love Star Wars.
Small World Realms is a big box expansion to Small World and Small World Underground. What this expansion allows you to do is to build your own small world, setting free your imagination and adding an vast amount of replayability to an already fun game.
This was an interesting game. It is a nice family game and would make a good filler or a way to get a night of gaming started. Kids younger than the recommended age of 8 can learn to play it, learn some basic gaming strategy, and have a good time too.
How you feel about Doctor Who: The Card Game will depend upon your own tastes as I found some things that I liked and some things that I didn’t like. So I have endeavored to provide enough information to help you make up your own mind.
Although is has been a big hit in Japan, Duel Masters never really took off in the United States. Wizards of the Coast decided to revamp the entire trading card game, and relaunch with a multimedia blitz of products, including an animated series…
Cthulhu Fluxx is the best version of Fluxx I’ve played. It’s still appropriate for families but it has a bigger draw for the teenagers than Oz Fluxx, which was more appropriate for a younger audience. I’ll admit that I am biased because I am a huge Mythos fan, but I still think that this will be a tough version for Looney Labs to beat.
The Dwarf King is a fun game, especially for your non-gamer friends who are used to playing only your standard card games. I’d call it a gateway card game. The games are also fairly short, so you can use it as a filler too.
Although the Game is Red Dragon Inn 2, my understanding is that all of the games in the series (1, 2, and 3) are pretty much the same. The characters change, but that is about it.
I liked Core Worlds a lot. It reminds me a bit of Race for the Galaxy, but a lot less complicated and less abrupt of an ending. All the players are in it until game end, and you know exactly when the game is going to end so you can plan your strategy as applicable.
Infiltration is a sci-fi card game based in the Android universe in which players are cyber thieves attempting to pilfer digital files from a super-secure facility. Room by room you explore deeper into the company, stealing data files as you go by jacking into the various access points to the corporate mainframe.

House of Spirits is a spooky little card game from Lock ‘n Load Publishing, outside of the regular wargame fare the company produces. It has a lot more under the hood than the small, unobtrusive box would indicate
Starship Merchants is the soon to be released new title from Toy Vault. This is a space trading game where the object is to put together your own fleet of mining vessels, plunder the richest rocks in the galaxy, and pull in the most cash.
